2011 Hall Of Fame UPDATE!
Lake George, New York - July 25, 2011– The first ever BillyCBoxing Hall Of
Fame Induction Weekend has started to heat up!
Post Inductees are:
America’s First Heavyweight Champion, Tom Molineaux, Former World
Champions Joe Gans, Sugar Ray Robinson and Rocky Marciano and one most regard as
one of the best pound for pound fighters ever, Sam Langford.
Living inductees are:
Former World Champions Leon Spinks, Marlon Starling and Greg Haugen and former
world title challengers Ernie Shavers and Iceman John Scully.
The Special guests, who will be accepting awards on behalf of the Post
Inductees, and all of the Living Inductees, have confirmed that they will be in
attendance and will be part of all of the activities during the event.
“In addition to all of the great fighters that we are inducting, we continue to
add some very special guests”, stated Bill Calogero, president of the
BillyCBoxing.com Network. He added, “Carol Doyle, who is the great-granddaughter
of the late great Sam Langford will be in attendance to share her experiences.
Jim Curl, who is the author of a new book scheduled to come out in early 2012
about Jersey Joe Walcott, which happens to be the first book ever written on the
former great will be part of the day’s event schedule. Jim will do a special
presentation on Walcott that will show and tell us things about the all-time
great that have never been heard before!”
Special guests will include many retired and active fighters, promoters,
managers, and celebrities. Several boxing book authors will be in attendance
with their books and there will be the most sought after Boxing Memorabilia also
available to add to what will be remembered as a “True Boxing Experience.”

The BillyCBoxing Hall Of Fame event will run from noon on Saturday November 19,
2011 thru 2:00 am early Sunday morning! You will have full access to the
fighters and special guests throughout the event, as well as all presentations,
seminars and workshops. Meals, which includes lunch, dinner and late-night food
is included in the pay-one-price ticket. This event will be held in a very
intimate setting and WILL sell out. ONLY tickets holders will have access to the

BillyCBoxing 2011 Hall Of Fame Inductees Announced!

George, NY – After thousands of emails, phone conversations and one on one
conversations with boxing’s most knowledgeable fans, BillyCBoxing.com has
officially formed a Hall Of Fame and has announced the inductees for the
inaugural BillyCBoxing Hall Of Fame Ceremony, which will be held on November
19, 2011.
Post

Champions Joe Gans, Sugar Ray Robinson and Rocky Marciano and one most regard
as one of the best pound for pound fighters ever, Sam Langford.
Living

“We
are not trying to compete with the other hall of fames in any way, shape or
form”, stated Bill Calogero, president of BillyCBoxing. He added, “We want to
be the fighters and fight fan’s Hall Of Fame. We are the
Blue-Collar-Hall-Of-Fame. Our Hall Of Famers will all posses the same traits,
they will all have fought the best, had heart, always gave their all, and most
importantly, helped the sport of pro boxing either during or after their boxing
career. Over time, the BillyCBoxing Hall Of Fame will feature fighters who
would have been competitive in any era, making them Boxing’s best boxers of all
time. Our induction weekend will focus on giving these fighters the
recognition, accolades and attention they deserve. The full weekend will be
dedicated to honoring them and their careers.”
All
of the living inductees are scheduled to be at the Induction Celebration Event
In South Glens Falls, NY on Saturday November 19. Also in attendance will be
several special guests to accept awards for all of the post inductees. There
will also be many fighters, trainers and promoters in attendance as well. The
ceremonies will begin at noon and will run through 1:00am. The activities will
include several presentations, discussions, film displays and workshops.
Space
is VERY limited and everyone in attendance will have full access to ALL
activities, fighters, special guests, etc. The pay one price ticket will also
include lunch and dinner as well as snack foods throughout the evening. This
event will be held in an intimate setting and WILL sell out. For information on
